Facilitating positive change in children and young people
The new role of Senior Mental Health Lead in schools is an opportunity to support children and young people. Over recent years, for many children, their mental health and well-being has been declining.
The Children's Society's 'The Good Childhood Report 2021' found that "modern life continues to erode the happiness of young people. Dissatisfied with school, friendships and how they look, children deserve drastic change."
We asked over 300 Designated Safeguarding Leads and Senior Mental Health Leads and they told that the key barriers to an embedded mental health culture in schools was time, training and knowledge.
In this course from Andrew Hall (pictured right) and Success In Schools, we will help you identify your learning needs, devise a clear action plan and allow you to work through the online modules at your own pace.
